First off, I'd like to politely ask you mods... once you inevitably change the title, please keep the letters big. Don't use Capital ones though, I hate those.

NOW WHERE WAS I. LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, WELCOME TO THE BREEDING GROUNDS OF CHAOS INCARNATE. WELCOME TO THE BATTLEFIELD ON ICE. WELCOME TO THE EASTERN CONFERENCE OF THE NHL.

The last time Hurricanes reached ECF was... a different time to say the least. Throughout the shitfest of the last five years each of us has lost... and gained.

On the hockey front, Florida and Canes were considered perennial failures who had to listen to (mostly Quebecois) bullcrap about moving and whatnot. Franchises that mostly eyed the draft. But then the Wild Card Squad of 2019 attacked. And Canes never looked back and went on to be contenders for almost every season afterward.

While Panthers had to wait to truly break through for this season, they have done so in spectacular fashion, to say the least, pulling the uno reverse card on the previous season. Leave it to Bob to mess up historical seasons. They can still die and go to hell though.

Tonight we seek nothing lesser or greater than Vengeance. Vengeance for the Fall in the Slugfest of Game One.

Kudos to the young lady at game 1 who was wearing an outfit fashioned from rally towels. Not known if she burned it as a sacrifice to the HOCKEY GODS OF VENGEANCE after the loss, but what is known is that she likely wouldn't have been able to sell it for any value (or even give it away) - as none of the towels have the game number and round
