Dont know about GA but you have one great certified painter in North Carolina. This will be a longer post. Sorry but I cant say enough good about Tony @ masked expressions. I had asked for no pictures, wanting to be suprised when i opened the returned package. I swear, when you get close to the mask, its like looking at a HR image from the Hubble telescope. The pictures below just dont do the paint any justice to what you see in real life.

Masked Expressions

My mask painted by Tony @ masked expressions:

Tony Jarrett is certified to paint ANY style mask/combo. Certified meaning he is authorized to place new certification stickers. He is also the only painter that I know of who offers a lifetime conditional gaurantee on his paints(talk to Tony for details). Its a family affair including his Dad whos motorcycle paints have been featured on the cover of Easy Rider magazine. Tony does the goalie paints. An excellant guy to deal with who is genuinely interested in providing you with EXACTLY what you want and goes the extra mile. He likes to have several phone conversations to discuss your ideas as well as any example pictures or artwork sent via e-mail before he begins the paint.

other painters include:

Sometimes I get jealous of goalies because of their masks.

Anyone else fantasize about what their mask design would be like if they played net for their favorite NHL team...?

Mask like Irbe's, all yellow/gold, with two Bruins logos on the side. Thats what mask I'd have.

And I'd have the TPS blocker/glove/pad set that is made like the old brown leather color. Like one of the guys on Minnesota had.

I can't see the images of your or your son's mask. Don't know if you removed them or they just don't show. Anyway, the Stormtrooper design from the ME site is simply brilliant. Very original concept.

the user that got that one is on the same forum that those links are from. He told him that he wanted a stormtrooper helmet and trusted the guy... Thats what he came up with, amazing paint job.

I think that's the key to getting a killer paint job. Artists are special in that kind of way. You like the artist's style, you give them an outline of what you want, and you let him/her run with it. Too much input on your side can sometimes turn into a disaster.
