What a self inflicted blunder all because Pace once again thought he was a genius (He isn't) and because he tried to be cute

Bears have to match because our GM already created a massive hole at LG for no reason and creating another hole at CB losing Fuller would mean yet another problem

Would have prevented them from moving on with regard to CB market and it would have tied up significant $$$ they would be unsure if they would have available in FA

Bears had no reason to match right away and it was stupid to do so

Nah cap space is pretty easy to come up with in the NFL. Green Bay took a shot and the Bears matched. It's basically a 2 year deal. Fuller settled kind of low imo.

What CB market? Sherman, Johnson and pretty much every other desirable piece (Tailb, Peters) have either signed or moved elsewhere. The Packers would hardly revolve their whole offseason around one guy and could have still made moves if it was worth it.
