It would be hilarious after Hughes has said in interviews since the season ended that they're not interested in drafting LD then turn around and draft Dickinson. He's been an absolute beast for London in the playoffs, though. He finished with 70 pts in 68 games and was an incredible +56. I don't know how you pass on him. Great player.

Hughes can always make multiple trades for forwards using excess D.

Thats assuming he'll even be available at 5.

He had 43 pts, and for whatever reason last year was a high scoring year in NHL. A lot of players had career highs and then reverted back to standard scoring this year. He's a 30 pt guy.

what do you mean never stood a chance? you're a goalie, your job is to be in position for every shot. if you "never stood a chance", you're not a very good goalie, are you? some shots will come from difficult angles sometimes!! it's the NHL!!
