Yeah it's pretty impressive actually, and Canes fans were dicks about it at the time. How they like it now? Actually looks pretty good for the Habs - avoided overpaying a 3rd/4th liner and was the beginning of BargainBin's end

Lehky went from barely getting any offensive opportunities with the Habs, goes to the Avs and plays on a line with MacKinnon and Rantanen and it couldn't have happened to a better guy.
Good teams can inflate the value of any player by putting them on a good line and watching them get points. Weak teams don’t have that option.

Agree though that bullet that was dodged came back and shot us in the foot trading that pick+ for Dvorak.
The + is important cause it's going to be this year 2nd round pick so a 37th pick which is a good pick for such a boring player. The 1st wound have been more than enough.
