Come on man, even the Rangers fanbase doesn't think their defense is good, for the most part.

And the score means nothing, it's possible to win a game and only allow 1 goal (or even 0) with the defense playing poorly, if the goalie is on.

Only allowing 1 goal is not necessarily indicative of the defense playing well.

Just like that game where we allowed 42 shots to the Islanders and only allowed 2 goals, which made people say we didn't really play all that badly.

WE got like 44 shots on them in their last game, they're not a vintage defensive team the way they were in the Torts system. They're basically middle of the pack in shots allowed per game (17th - 30.3 total).

DD is gonna hype them up as one of the best in the league at everything, I think they've been a below average defensive team for years. They were just propped up by Lundqvist. He hasn't looked like Lundqvist for much of this season, so it's become a little more evident.

Lundvist also got Dan Girardi that stupid contract and AV continues to use him like he's good.

Yup, then they are only 4 pts back with both teams having 14 games left...which would then give us a 35% chance at a top 3 pick that now stands as 30%. Really not that much of a difference surprisingly.

I figure it will probably end around 9:40-ish their time, 10:40-ish our time. Anytime between 9:30-9:50 local time. I figure they'll be in the air by 10:50-11:00 Nashville time. So they should be in the air by midnight our time. That's brutal for a set of back to backs. Not as bad as when the Sharks had to play in Denver and then Winnipeg the next night though.

I think if LA loses, they're finished. The Kings are really tough to watch for me, they remind me too much of a team we all know and love. And I mean in the way they struggle to score 2 goals sometimes. They had 3 the other night against the Capitals, that's like two games worth for them.
