If you haven't see him interviewed, you'll be in for a treat. He is a very, very smart man, well spoken and well read. Also good sense of humor. Not as goofy as Konopka, but LOVED in the lockerroom.
He was interviewed before a game recently, maybe after he scored. Like you said, he came across very well, and for only being on the team about a week and a half or so, referred to about 8 players by their nicknames. The Sportsnet panel was saying, well it looks like he has fit in if he knows that already.
Interesting is that he didn't get in a fight for a few games, and then only when directly challenged. ie. He didn't have a need to be over aggressive when not needed and do something stupid. Neil is smart like that, and if Kass shows the same smarts it is a great combo.
On the bench and pre-game he doesn't have Neil's killer look, just looks like a good old boy having fun. Definately saw the look though during and after the fight. Looks like a good fit with Maclean, who I don't think would have any use for a mindless goon.
