OT. local music festivals

So I am from a few hours of you guys and wanted to pass this along for anyone that enjoys loud heavy metal and hard rock. Lil Ole Danville Va is hosting the Blue ridge rock festival this year. 120+ bands so far bands like Sevendust, Fozzy, and Nonpoint have been announced but they are far from the headliners. Former Headliners of the BRRF have been Godsmack, STP, The Offspring, Ect. Im pretty excited to have something like this happen here. This town doesnt get much in the way or Rock music to come through mostly just country.

hopscotch festival is in downtown raleigh, as is j cole's dreamville festival

epicenter fest is also pretty close

shakori hills also has some smaller festivals that are nice due to the location

True as long as it hasn't rained lately. I lost a shoe in the mud there once. Might have been the Scuppernong margarita's though.

Durham has something called Moogfest, electronic music. Used to be in Asheville.

Raleigh also has that Bluegrass festival. Not really my cup of tea but it's the biggest Bluegrass music festival on planet earth so it rakes in the $$$

Mount Joy and Briston Maroney are having an "event" in May at the Orange County Speedway. It's a drive-in concert and could be a good time.
