Maybe these guys will now realize what expenses are involved in getting a league up and running... and the revenue that it takes to generate a profit so all expenses can be covered...Maybe before they folded they could of called Knob Goodenow for a loan to keep things afloat for awhile, he KNOWS all about the economics of how to run a business in a hockey environment! :yo:

Good.

Message to the players: Get your butts back to the table and get a deal done. 'Keep in shape' on your own dime.

Why do people think the NHL is just another league that could easily be replaced? :shakehead

Why do people keep thinking that the OSHL was a players-initiated project? :shakehead

And more importantly, how much food is not going to be "on the table" because of this unfortunate development? :joker:

It wasn't players initiated? So who did start up this brain fart of an idea?

"The OSHL, an idea of Ontario's Randy Gumbley...

Gumbley is the owner and coach of a Junior A team near Toronto; in the off-season he conducts hockey camps....

When Gumbley started floating his concept to player agents he knew, his idea met with curiosity rather than skepticism..."
