I had the opportunity to meet him a few times during his college days and first couple years in the NFL. A very good player and a very nice man. RIP.

I wonder how the type of artificial turf that is used is somehow involved. Seems most of the players that have ALS played on artificial or field turf. There is already worries that the turf causes cancer
