They definitely were somewhat deflated after that 2nd goal against. And after the goal to tie it.....forget about it, the Canes were toast......ughh. Well, Go Panthers!

What’s the rangers shooting percentage in these playoffs like 20%?

These guys are routinely the most mid team to win rounds of playoff hockey. They snag opponents with horrible goaltending (including us in the first half of the series last year) and have an obscene reliance on power play execution and having a better goalie in their own end. Every single other aspect of their game is yawn.

Seriously, they were destroying the Rags, Freddie gives up a softy, then suddenly the puck's in their end for the next five minutes, and the few legit chances the Canes get go right into Shesty's chest. How do you let one softy while you're still up one turn into an excuse to roll over and die?

Freddie Andersen just cost his team a legitimate chance at a reverse sweep. Incredible.
Not only that

He cost them the first two games, even though people thought I was hard on him. Him and his worthless 35 saves and 4 goals against while Shesterkin is over there making 54 saves on 57 shots.

He cost them the first two games. If they even win just ONE of those first two games, they're not in a position where they have to come back and reverse sweep the Rangers just to win the series.

He didn't play well in not one of the three games they lost this round where he played and he really didn't do much to help them win any of the games they won.

Oh, he allowed 1 goal on 21 shots last game? Gimme a break.

You can't be serious thinking you're gonna win the cup with a 34 or 35 (whatever he is) Freddie the fossil Andersen.

In the one really good year he's had since 2019, he didn't even survive the start of the playoffs because he got hurt.
