I have a few buddies who's kids were with the Vees 4 years ago. They had a bad experience and left within the first few months and have been regulars for a few season with their respective new team.

From what I am told, JR A in the OJHL & CCHL is over $7k plus the billet family and if a kid isn't playing much or not playing at all, parents get upset. If the price tag was under 1K, then I don't think anyone would complain much of their kid wasn't playing.

Sadly, I have seen too many times where parents get upset and either pull their kid out of JR A for JR B or just have their kid stop playing. At that level, if your kid isn't playing much or being a healthy scratch, what's the point of paying thousands of $$. Dream is over and reality sets in.
