Oilers are absolutely miserable 5 v 5, once again carried by a ridiculous powerplay.

Also in recent years, the Hawks have had the Oilers number for whatever reason.

Yeah, i have noticed that as well. They have been getting ridiculous amounts of favorable ref calls too...
They are 17th in Power Plays so middle of the pack. They have just been lights out when they do get their few a game. A 40% rate is stupidly high. lol

Well if Hawks play 1 good period out of 3 like last game ...that is notca good recipe for any wins.

You woukd think just based on laws of average that Hawks are "due" for a laffer....time tge second linecactualky did something for tge offense.

Toews gets rare flash of what he once was and "goes off" with a hat-truck?

Or maybe he is nit tgebobe exploding from a slump tonight...but gets 3 apples whenKubalik light the lamp 3 times?

Nah...but we can dreamit happens...even ifvit won't.

But IF it is end tge schneid might for line 2 then that extra bost added to Kane and D-cat probably getting multi-points coukd lead to a 6 or 7 goal offensive outburst (for a change) for our Hawks...

It is hard going through 82 games with getting a couple of Laffer games...we are "due"..

One thing is certain for tonight's game. Hawks need to stay out of the penalty box. Oilers PP will feast on Hawks passive system.
When McDavid has the puck Hawks need to stop skating and just form a wall in front of the net. If you don't touch McDavid, no Oilers PP :naughty:
