I'm surprised people don't think Mcdavid is going to have a big game.

This is the type of game McDavid literally dreamed of playing in.

2G + 1A

One thing I'm sure is that he'll be absolutely flying out there.

Pittsburgh is the best team in the NHL and Edmonton has a tough schedule right now.

Even a point in this game would be huge.

We're massive underdogs, no one expects us to win. I just want to see 100% effort and see the guys come ready to fight and say "**** it why not?" Why can't we compete and battle with these guys?

One good thing, we play better when we're the underdogs.

this is an extreme test for our "defensive structure". Pens have speed, skill, and elite players who won't just fall off the puck.

This is the game the wheels fall off the bus. Stanley Cup champs with a Crosby anxious to prove he's still the best player in the world vs a road weary Oiler team. McDavid loses his second "head to head" matchup game in a big way.

Pens 5-1
Hagelin with first goal, as the Oilers are a tonic for struggling goal scorers.
Crosby Hagelin Kessel
Larsson High Sticking

Pittsburgh is way overrated. Their defense is nothing special and they got hot at the right time and with a lot of help from Matt Murray. When expectations are high this team folds in the playoffs. Nobody expected them to win anything last year and they were kind of the underdogs and the pressure was off.

Early sample sizes for both teams but The Oilers have a few more goals scored and exactly the same amount of goals against. If Fleury plays they win, terrible goalie on a terrible contract.
