If we can do just one thing - please don't let Nick Suzuki walk down the wall and launch one from the top of the circle on the PP.

I swear to god he has scored an identical goal off this play like the last 4 times we played them.

Nurse - Stecher is definitely the item to watch today.

Recent sample of games against non playoff opponents suggests the opposite but I think the Oilers will turn up for this one.

I've often viewed Stetcher in a somewhat similar light to Ethan Bear with slightly better puck movement and a bit less of a shot.

Arguably Nurse's best results were with Bear except in playoffs.

Here's hoping..... (especially as Stecher's playoff stats are actually pretty decent for a limited sample size).

This is my optimistic view of him as well. When Nurse is playing in a game that is somewhat predictable he's really good. When he finds himself in scramble situations he's horrible because he has problems making the right reads in quick react defensive situations. A lot of the "scramble" in his game is created off of bad Ceci turnovers, if there are fewer of those his game should be improved in theory.

Nice that coach hasn't forgot about Pickard again. Good to get him a start. Desharnais being out is a plus, gets Stecher some mroe time to prove how much better option he is. Really Stecher shouldn't come out of the lineup as we approach playoffs.

This is an insult to Stecher. Unlike Bear it'll be hard to even spot errors with this player. Hes' pretty clean with his outs and reads. For his size he's pretty solid. Stecher arguably a better producer as well as he can setup plays and score a few. Stecher is light years better D than Ethan Bear.

Let's beat all the Canadian teams over this span (especially the weekend games), starting with this one.

Glad to see Stetcher get back in. Kind of a rough start in his first showing with 2 penalties. He's probably looking to have a better game tonight too.
