Jeff Corbett, Dman for the Sudbury Wolves and late 94 birthdate, is very underated by most people. I love that he's finally getting the attention he deserves as he has sky rocketed up the rankings to 66th among NA skaters. He ranks among the top-5 draft eligible OHL defencemen which is very impressive (Nurse, Bigras, Zadorov, Corbett, Harpur). Corbett has now become a top pairing Dman for the Wolves with the departure of Corrado and Sefton and he has gained alot more ice time with this. He is a terrific skater and plays solid shut down defence, also has good size 6'2 with good reach can still fill out a bit more and needs to work on his offensive side of the game. Corbett has alot of tools NHL scouts drool over, I predict he will be drafted anywhere from the 2nd to 3rd round in the upcoming NHL draft!
Don't put too much stock in Central Scouting Rankings because they don't mean anything. There are players who are ranked low by CSS and get drafted high, and players ranked high who are drafted low or aren't drafted at all. In the end its all about how the players are ranked on the individual's team lists. I know players who aren't even on the list that scouts really like.
