Emond(20) Sweeney
Melindy(20) Wood
Johnston McCabe
Mann

Lalonde Barbashev Euro
Johnston Penny Garland
Tremaine Johnson Batt
Simpson Pugsley Haas
Beaudoin Hynes Bradley

I figure we'll add a couple of free agents to the mix. We also will have room to add a 20 year old , likely a forward since Emond and Melindy are pretty well locks. Hopefully we can add a top end European forward as well. Could be worse but it is definitely a rebuilding year. The next coach is also up in the air. There's alot of rumours and candidates include Guy Boucher , Fabian Joseph, Gardiner MacDougall.

Do you think MacDougall would leave his empire at UNB? it would have to be a good deal for that to happen.

instead of adding a few FA, they should try building through the draft like most teams :)

When was the last time the Wildcats actually had a goalie come through their team? Instead they sign 19yr old FA's and trade their 16yr old goalies.

Garland and Barbashev will be dominant....as dominant as you can be on a 28 win team :)

They seem to be doing alright in the FREE agent goalie department... Shane Owen, Charle Lavigne , Jhase Sniderman since 2005-2006.. I agree that it would nice to build through the draft but there's nothing wrong with adding a solid free agent. Never know , maybe we'll find the next Claude Giroux :sarcasm: Might have a hard time next season but Barbashev is a 3 year player since he's only NHL draft eligible in 2014 and it's looking like Garland has the potential to be a 5 year player. I think that's ample time to be in the upper echoleon on the league again ;)

They might be adding Daniel Sprong to that group..

why would you say Moncton might Add Sprong? There are 18 teams that might add sprong. They dont own a first round pick and Sprong should be gone by the end of the first. Multiple teams have more than 1 pick in the first round, so i doubt he will be able to play the game of choosing where he wants to play. There will be a team that takes him before the late 2nd or 3rd which is when Moncton will pick, unless a trade to move up is done. Not sure what moncton has that would warrant a first round pick in return....but that's another story :)

Just teasing :P We don't know how futures, drafts, trades, any of that will look yet. regardless I don't expect either team to be exceptional.
