I meant like rank in terms of relative to the league. Like id guess this team scored more raw total than older ones but was lower ranked than day 96-97 or 01-02. To account for league scoring changes

I'd need a better data source than NHL stats which limits downloads to 100 records. I could do it, but I have bills to pay. ;)

Here is why I think we make the playoffs next season

I'm betting we finally have a + on goal differential (* forecast)

2024-2025* GF: 272 GA: 262 Diff: +10
2023-2024 GF: 251 GA: 272 Diff: -21
2022-2023 GF: 228 GA: 299 Diff: -71
2021-2022 GF: 207 GA: 313 Diff: -106
Does that 31 goal diff gives us around 20-25 pts. to make the playoffs?

I actually think we have a better shot making it next year than we do in two years. I think we will have the right intersection of youth and vets next season. The following year But and Simashev will join the team. Maybe Geekie, maybe Mav. I think we could have a similar season to what NJD had this year. A transition year.

Curious to see who has/will ask for a trade.
I would imagine they’ll all go take a scouting trip up there with their wives and girlfriends and see what they think of the place…look at what the lifestyle would be like. But honestly, when you’re a pro athlete you get access to the best of the best, all the best areas of the town, no matter what city you’re playing in…so I would think it will probably still be pretty nice up there for them. Just no golf in the winters haha.

But and Simashev need to develop a lot more before they play for us. 3 to 4 from what I have been seeing with there limited ice time. RT you have probably watched more than I. What's your take?

"Most of the money from the Tempe NO side also came from trade unions. If Alex would have agreed to a certain percentage of union labor, that campaign would not have been that strong"

I just looked again to make sure, but it has been reported that union workers would be employed. It was workers from out of state unions that fought against TED because it wouldn't provide jobs for THEIR workers, so this statement isn't really that accurate.

I think that hurts the sources credibility and the reliability of the rest of their information a bit.

That’s not cool if Smith poured money to the No Tempe side..

Might break trust with players before he even gets the team

Out of the frying pan into the … next… frying pan I guess

Now I gotta hear that Spitting Chiclits podcast .. sounds like a lot of info on there

It was baked into the DDA that Meruelo had to use a minimum of 25% "skilled labor".

The best thing about that Katie Strang article years ago was that Armstrong discovered Jr is a tool so he just stuck him in the corner to watch YouTube.

So if the Roadrunners move to Tempe and Josh Doan starts next season in the AHL, he would have played at the Mullett for three different teams. That’s pretty cool, especially considering he’s from Arizona too
