Heat vs Marlies on TV right now (in MB anyways)

Reinhart with a nice set up to Locke on a 5 on 3 to make it 2-1

Street scored the OT winner and Abbotsford pulled off a 2-1 win over Utica.

Sven and Street with the goals, Sven's goal was with 0.1 seconds left in the 2nd when Streets shot bounced of his skate and in.

With the Heat being in 5th place, there's a pretty good chance they'll make the playoffs. I wonder who they face in the first round?

he's eligible to sign a PTO right? no harm no foul gives him some professional games to end the season
Klimchuk does not need to sign a PTO, he can simply be re-assigned by the Flames as his junior season is done. Unlike Kulak the Flames don't even have to give Klimchuk a choice.

you explained it a couple days ago but I still don't quite get this; once a player's junior season is done, is he able to bypass the 20-year-old rule in the AHL? I realized Klimchuk has already signed his entry-level contract, but I've always thought the one rule in the AHL is that you can't have players under 20 unless they are drafted outside of CHL.

Once a CHL players season is finished they can be assigned to the AHL. The rule is only in place so that teams can't take talent from the CHL clubs, so once their year is done they can play anywhere.

Yann Sauve and Tim Miller drop the gloves. Miller was owned, but neither are fighters.
