In light of the hundreds of dead and injured from the shooting in Las Vegas, one mental health researcher believes that three things -- loneliness, lack of play and shame -- may be the cause.

Seems very plausible as society does not support men in relationships where one can be vulnerable, opportunities to just "play" (enjoy life). And many find divisive, derogatory ways of communications.
