I think Nylander is sitting out. At the end of the day, the leafs lose but Nylander loses MASSIVELY. Whoever is advising him is terrible. Pastranak's agent told him to take less because he understands that it's not just about this contract but the contracts ahead as well. And losing this season means not only money lost, but time lost to build up ones value.

We don't know very much at all about what has been said. Chill out and watch it unfold. Sure say your OPINION but qualify it as such. This thread is terrible.

As we know William is not signing but if you want a plot twist, how about William presenting Kyle with a signed offer sheet at 4:59.

Interesting thought. If that happens, of course the Leafs can't negotiate with Nylander for a different contract, but they can make trade offers to the team that he signed with, IIRC, so they could still turn it into a win, potentially.
