Flyers weren’t going to sign LW Issac Ratcliffe anyway, he was a give away since the Preds recalled Tomasino, Sherwood and Sanford from Milwaukee to replace the traded Jeannot, Niederreiter and injured Ryan Johansen, Filip Forsberg and Juuso Parssinen.

Nashville needed a warm body in Milwaukee.

Ratcliffe was an early 2nd round pick in 2017 at 35th overall, Issac is a player that never really could put his game together in the Pros as his skating is awkward and slow at the highest level and Issac at 6’6” doesn’t really use his size to his advantage either.

Issac is an RFA at the end of the season; it remains to be seen if Nashville will even give Ratcliffe a qualifying offer.

Really liked him when we drafted him, and he was on the memorial cup Guelph team with Suzuki that won. Just didn't pan out here. I don't think he put on much weight since being drafted which is really needed for his game.
