Umm...Skinner got 9 million. THAT'S the one that should have made this higher.

Clearly he took a discount to go to a preferred destination. It's highly improbable that other teams weren't offering him more than 8 million.

It will be interesting to see if he gets any signing bonuses or a NMC. Those are things that Nashville rarely includes in contracts. If Duchene took this much of a discount, my guess is he got a NMC.
