Very pricey with Schaefer+1st and probably an overpay, but not enough to sour me on acquiring a player of Ekholm's caliber. Swapped out a dman who needed to be sheltered for a guy with a long track record of playing well against elites even if the age/contract is a bit scary. Hopefully there's a bit of retention here too.

Good on Ken to wake the duck up four years in. Would have happily included more to get Trenin too since he is what the bottom six needs for a long playoff run, but it leaves a 1st ‘24, our 2nd, and higher end prospects to add another defender which should be the focus now.
