Not sure I like how Memphis have chosen to use the mounds of cap space that they had. They could have used a better player alongside Morant, Jackson and Brooks. Now they've wiped away all that cap space for a couple of decent players who's probably not going to move the needle for them in the West.

valenciunas can space the floor better than adams, but really not that big of an upgrade for the pels

IIRC I heard they did it to open cap space. Need to sign actual good players to convince Zion to stay.
