Of course it was a goal. Hull had the puck on his stick when his foot went into the crease, it was pushed out of the crease...right back onto his stick, when he scored. He has the right to go into the crease to get the puck AFTER THE PUCK IS IN THERE. And he did at the time, too.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Dallas would have won the series and the Cup either way. No way Buffalo wins 3 straight from that Dallas team that year.

Wrong. Wrong. That isn't what the rule said.

3 straight? Dallas had won games 2, 3, and 5. Buffalo won games 1 and 4. Had they won Game 6, it would be no sure thing either way.

Nothing we can change about it now, but it's still ******** the way it was handled.

Thus a goal.

This is the same.. Hull's scored. It counted. So it's a goal.

I'm glad that the goal was scored the way that it was, because it has given Sabres fans world-wide something else to talk about besides the fact that the team hasn't accomplished anything since making that SCF.
