Based on this: http://www.thescore.com/news/707825 less that one in ten 6th rounders plays 100 games and less than one in three plays ANY game. They basically traded him for nothing (OK, for a lottery ticket, when in wich odds are against you)...

By the time that his finger heals, someone in the top 9 might go down to injury. He's the kind of depth that's good to stock up on with the playoffs nearing, especially when the price is so reasonable.

It boggles my mind how the league values Parenteau so little. He's a solid player. Great middle 6 guy.
