Yes he can be lost on waiver but unlikely. Every team has a few Valimaki. Remember nobody wants Kulak ?

There's room for Kylington right next to Tanev, and everyone else starting from 3rd pair drops one spot in depth chart, simple as that. Välimäki is the more interesting case here.

Valimaki can't be pressbox though, that will likely be Gilbert. Will we pay him 1.5 to be on the farm?
I do think it'd be much better for him to get top pairing time, rather than bottom.

He’s an absolute beauty. My favourite player on the roster. Yeah he has his warts and inconsistencies but he continually got better as the year went on under Daryl’s tutelage and can legitimately be a strong second pair player in my opinion. He is one hell of a character and likeable guy too. Good deal.
