I drafted the Islanders & Golden Knights. I picked my BEST every time for Vegas and the next/2nd best for the Isles... yet suddenly midseason the table is reversed and my 2nd best judgements are now together a contender!

I'm happy to say I picked a lot of Hurricanes till they were taken over mid draft by Ermo20 (Talbot!!) and I took over Arizona after the guy dropped out halfway through so I have to remake that team on the fly. My last place team Bruins are the only team I drafted top to bottom, with the emphasis on bottom. That team was built for 4-5 seasons from now so hopefully this pool is still around then LOL.

Playoff format; as this was not discussed by the former owner of the pool I really didn't pay any attention to it. It may have impacted who drafted from which teams (playoff locks vs rebuilding teams) vs merely players or even prospects.

For kicks I will continue the pool into the playoffs with the top 10 teams (just under half) and see what happens, but to me the big prize is the regular season.

Remember the trade deadline is 6 pm MST (4 EST) March 2nd, the day after the NHL trade deadline.

The stretch run should be interesting with Tampa very catchable. A key injury or two or a couple of hot streaks could change the fortunes of many teams down the stretch!
