Lidström contract was worth 10M before the 2004-05 lockout.

Same as Fedorov.

Then after the 24% cut after the lockout, Lidström salary settled to 7.6M.

But 7.6M under 39M cap, that was almost maximum salary. I remember only Jagr got more, which was 20% max of the 39M, 7.8M.

Lidström's 7.6M under 39M cap... would be 16.27M nowadays under 83.5M salary cap.

An he was all worth it !

Just some weird stats somewhere, that Nicklas Lidström has most wins ever at NHL including regular season and playoffs.

Like, he's 14th at all-time games list... but most wins after you include the playoffs.... that definitely sounds like a Nicklas Lidström record. He never missed the playoffs and did succeed there.

Feel like that last one should be thrown in every Bourque vs Lidstrom argument…
