The NHLPA Player Poll returned for its' 2018-19 edition dated March 20th, 2019. NHL players were surveyed on more than 20 hockey-related questions with more than 500 players taking part in the poll. Players weighed in on a variety of questions – covering skills, arenas, teams and a few other entertaining topics in between.

Best Shot
-Laine places 3rd (12.6%) behind Ovechkin (50.2) & Weber (14.6)

Best Potential GM After Retiring
-Scheifele places 4th (3.8%) behind Crosby (5.5%), Spexxa (4.8%) & Orpik (4.5%)

Funniest Player
-Byfuglien places 3rd (3.2%) behind Yandel (12.1%) & Doughty (7.8%)

Best Atmosphere
-MTS Centre places 5th (3%). Las Vegas wins (42.5%), Montreal (21.2%), Nashville (14.1), Chicago (10.9)

Best Ice
-MTS Centre places 3rd (11.4%). Montreal (29.6%) wins & Edmonton 2nd (20.4%)

Best Nickname
-never knew Dano was referred to as "Snacks." Placed 3rd behind "Tuna Tatar" & "The Breadman" Panarin
