I'm thinking 1st and a 3rd (which would be the RFA compensation) and then Bonino for picks elsewhere.

I dunno but presumably the college kid drafted in the 5th cant/wont come and we dont have a 6th so there will be a maximum of 2 new draftees to attend.(assuming the big Czech kid is even in the country)

I don't know, and I'm not sold that move really makes Calgary any better. I guess it basically just pushed the clock back on losing some guys and outside of that I'm not sure it's much of a gain.

It also seems to partly assume Hamilton's performance was a product of playing with Giordano and can be replaced by Brodie/Hanifin. Based on how Flames fans have talked about Hamilton prior to this though, this isn't good value for them.

Yeah kind of my thought. They talked like he was awesome, but apparently not so much now? Guess it happens anytime someone is traded though.

Does Poile hate our OHL scouts or something? Since 2010 we've drafted only two players from the OHL (Watson in 2010 and Paquette last year)
