Time for another tourney.

This 1 is a yrs. of debut tourney. There will be 28 seasons divided into 7 groups of 4, for 3 weeks we will see a round robin. Following the round robin there will be a 16 team playoff consisting of the top 2 teams in each group and the top 2 3rd place teams.

As always with my poll series for retired players base your vote on their careers, for current players vote based upon career projections. If you see anything with a roster you'd like me to change let me know.

All roster decisions based upon stats from hockeyreference.com

We resume action tomorrow with Group A:

1989-1990 1-0 7 VF 0 VA vs. 2003-2004 3 VF 1 VA
2002-2003 0-1 1 VF 3 VA vs. 2018-2019 0 VF 7 VA

Thanks everyone for the support and votes this week. You do these tourneys and wonder how much support they'll get but what I've seen this week is par for the course when it comes to my poll series. It's just a 3 week poll series plus playoffs. I'm planning to do one for retirement yrs. since 1989-1990 as well.

- The 2010-11 group with Calvert instead of Weise would probably be the most complete team in the NHL.

- Iggy is the best player of the lot here.
