Freddy Andersen hasn't ever been a big game goaltender. I know not all of those goals tonight were on him, 2 in particular, but GOT DAYUM dude has got to make some big saves and just doesn't. He's been this way since the 2014/15 WCF against the Hawks where he let up 5 goals a piece in games 5, 6, & 7

Every Ranger fan that’s paying attention cringes at the fact that he’s the captain of the team and admits that he’s easily our worst defenseman. The only way we’ll tolerate him not being traded this offseason is if we win the Cup.

Carolina is a rock solid team who kicks ass in regular season. But not built for the playoffs. Their goalies are meh, and they dont have the toughness to go long. They do have good balanced scoring and the team overall can skate and pass. No superstars hurts too. Doesn't mean a cup winner has to have a Hall of Fame stud who will be elected in first year eligibility. But trying to win a cup where Aho and Burns are the two most notable players is tough to win the cup.
