Bossy, Trottier and Potvin are obvious

I really wanted to vote Tavares as #4 to not only have dynasty players, but with the way the relationship ended and soured it probably doesn't make sense. So i voted Smith

Smith is great - it just seems for a franchise that's spanned so many decades it would be nice to pick someone from a different era.

I'm tempted to go with LaFontaine, even with brief tenure, but it's probably one of the various unsung dynasty guys or Smith of course (but I hate to put goalies together with players on these things)

The different eras were generally eras of misery or at best mediocrity. If you want them represented, the best option would be Mike Milbury.

I flipped flopped between Smith and Gillies as the fourth after going Trots, Bossy, Potvin in my mind before the thread had even finished loading. Smith's Conn Smythe gives him the spot.

Billy Smith has a Conn Smythe

Just thought people should know that before voting for anyone on this list without even a Stanley Cup.

Yeah. I don't know what's wrong with people who aren't getting Billy Smith on their ballot here. I had room to get him on there, and still get my troll vote for Tavares logged.

I had to leave off one of Trottier or Potvin, but i think it's worth it.
