Ever since they first started playing in the NHL (as the Kansas City Scouts) in 1974, the New Jersey Devils/Colorado Rockies franchise made the playoffs every year that ended with the number 8.
I heard a rumor that every time an NHL team steps into an arena that was NOT build for football they start playing hockey. Unexplainable and just mind boggling to me!
I think the fact that you are clearly very angry at the post is more dumb.
Are you having a bad day? Things get better my friend, don't dwell on it.

Mind boggling. They also made the playoffs in 1990, 2000, and 2010 (ends in 0). If you put 8 and 0 together, you get 80. Divide that by 4 (Taylor Hall's number in Edmonton) and you get 20 (Blake Coleman's number), and then you can add 63 (Jesper Bratt's number) and you get 83. 1982/83 was the Devils first year and, coincidentally, they did NOT make the playoffs that year. They did however play 80 games that year, which you'll remember from putting 8 and 0 together at the start.
