Right now anyone on Backstrom’s line is a problem line. If this is Backstrom moving forward (and there’s not some injury we’re unaware of), I’m not so sure signing him at a high price is a slam dunk decision .

Oh FFS, let it go. Holtby acknowledged he played poorly in the season. He's been much better of late and that's been acknowledged by most here.
