Not counting value or Ducks needs, Zegras is a LW/C. I don't think he's played much (or any) RW at any high level. I think he was LW in WJC, C in college, and swaps between those two in the NHL. He could probably manage, but he's looked better as a C than a wing.

You should ask yourself this question first. Does Anaheim need a LD on their top4? I'll help you, the answer is no.

They have Fowler, Minty, Zellweger, Lacombe.

The offer is bad, even for MTL, I see no reason to trade our best defenceman for Zegras.

I would like a trade with Anaheim but I don't believe they would love adding futures right now.

Basically this
LHD is by far our least need position.

And zegras in theory fills our most needed position. Wouldn’t make sense for Anaheim.

If we move zegras I feel like it would be for a similar age player with similar upside, by different stylistically from zegras…. Or at the draft for a highish pick +
