So u really dont remember before the Boston series how Leafs nation was thinking it was an easy series win since u guys beat them more in the regular season?

I know its early but if the Leafs are the most overrated team..its kind of funny that they have overwhelmingly scored the most goals of any team so far (29) sit #1 in the standings out of 31 teams with 10 points and have 3 of the top 5 point leaders.

On the surface, it would appear that they aren't overrated at all based on that lol.

idk but i felt the general sentiment according to polls and social media was that the Leafs were favorites. This shows how overrated they are cause even tho they finished behind in standings they still thought they were better because the were better head to head.

Leafs fans used the season series as proof that the team could beat the Bruins, that the potential was there.. but every post I came across no Leaf fan outright claimed it was going to be easy or that we'd sweep them like you are claiming...marijuana isn't legal until the 17th, slow down on the puffs kid.

Leafs were heavy underdogs in 2017...we had 8 rookies on the roster going up against the presidents trophy winners FFS and in 2018 and still an inexperienced team playoff wise was going up against Chara, Bergeron, Marchand, Rask aka a seasoned grizzled vet playoff team.

To claim the Leafs have been favourites in the playoffs exposes your lack of hockey knowledge, sorry.

The Bruins were heavy favourites in that series. You can't just pick some posts on HF and think that means they were the favourites. THe "Experts" and even the favourite topic of Vegas odds had them the winners, and they were higher in the standings.

One thing I do know is if one fan says something, that means the entire fan base for that team agrees. It gets tough when two fans disagree. Then the entire fan base agrees with two opposite concepts. It's a noodle scratcher for sure, but it happens every day.
