By your lists I can tell there are quite a few players you really don't know very much about. Your personal rating overrate/underrate quite a few players one example is you have Wideman as a better defenseman then Bouwmeester which isn't close to the truth.

Burns, Voracek, Couture, Fasth, Kronwall, Zajac are overrated ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Atkinson is ridiculously underrated. Faulk is slightly underrated too imo. Bobrovsky, OEL.

Pacioretty???

Why he's a power forward, a sniper, he registeres 39 points in 44 games last year, which is the equivalent of 73 points on 82 games and he scored 33 goals 2 years ago.

I have to agree as a Bruins fan that a lot of the d-core is overrated

Seidenberg is a couple points too high (Don't get me wrong, he's damn good defensively and is a really good shut down compliment) but he really shouldn't be in the same ball park as guys like Subban and Karlsson

And Boychuk....85? Really? Did they not watch him for like 75% of last season?

On the contrary though, i feel Rask's 87 is perfect. Never played a full year, but in the time he has played he's been a monster so that's perfectly acceptable

More Bruins overrated than Habs? Not so... Price is very overrated as well for starters...

Boychuk is, I wouldn't say Chara or Seidenberg are though (Chara probably gets extra points due to strength and shot, not to mention he is also the best defenseman (defensively) in the NHL.

Every Euro's thread. He, Ristolainen, Teravainen, etc. all 2.5 stars and 40-50something overall.

I just downloaded a roster update and they made Barkov 4.5 yellow stars. Ristolainen is now 4 yellow stars, but Teravainen was not edited at all. They are all still rated in the 50s :shakehead

Youre delusional if you think seidenberg is fine and subban isnt underrated. Subban >>>> seidenberg

It looks like you knocked a couple overalls off of a lot of guys who were injured last year (Ruutu, Helm, Staal) which I don't agree with. Also disagree with the big bumps after one good (relative to their usual) season. Especially the goalies (Rask, Crawford, Bobrovsky), sort of like GodTuukka said, haven't played at the All-Star level over multiple seasons.

And as others have said, a lot of the prospects miss the mark by quite a bit. In real life, there are at least some guys from the most recent draft who are able to contribute at the NHL level, but there are hardly ever any guys in-game who are ready right out of the gate (the rare generated player comes out low-mid 70's, and some are occasionally 80+).

Last year at 82 overall, I would've said Matt Moulson. He went for about 1 000 pucks on the HUT market, and he was a stud. This year he's at 86 and going for at least 13 000, which is more than fair. He's got an awesome stache as well

I know it's early, but Tarasenko at 82 is going to change this year, no doubt about it...
