Wrestlezone claims Ronda/Jax is happening because they booked themselves into a corner and don’t have another option.

They don’t want Ronda in the ladder match, they don’t want her to lose a qualifier, and they can’t just ignore her for another PPV.

Good job.

So is Nikki/Cena a complete work, a worked shoot, or 100% real?

Because it seems they are almost definitely getting back together, while also promoting the next season of Total Bellas.

Just seems odd that Cena goes on the Today show all of a sudden and claims he wants kids with Nikki now.

They're so stupid to believe that they actually booked themselves into a corner there. haha That's such an easy thing to get around given the parameters.

Cena/Nikki is totally a work at this point.

They didn't have to book themselves into a corner at all, wtf.

Women's MITB: Sasha/Bayley/Becky/Charlotte/Riott/Moon/Bliss/Natalya
Jax watches on the sidelines
Carmella/Asuka
Rousey/Mickie

Apparently Jeff Hardy may have injured himself during his entrance for a dark match against The Miz today.

Apparently he was limping badly during the match and the doctor had to check him out post-match and may have had to help him to the back

They started that weird Natty/Ronda friends storyline. Why not turn Natty on Ronda or have them team up at MitB.

Its WAAAAY to early for Ronda to have a title match and now hold the title. They screwed themselves by having this match. They can't have Ronda lose this early, so she's getting the belt.

Maybe a dirty finish...idk.

Could swear she was traveling with Paige a lot too semi recently.

Kinda awkward since he likely has history with both of them.

It's too early to have Natty turn on Ronda. Natty's going to be the way to make people care about Ronda on a somewhat personal level within the context of WWE. All they need to do is make sure that this Jax/Rousey match happens after the Money in the Bank match, have Bliss win it, then have her and James blow up the title match. They may want to consider having Bliss cash in then and there or have their attack be focused more on Rousey and have Natty run in for the save. Rousey's not getting the title yet. It's too early for that. Summerslam is the earliest.

So according to Road Dogg, AJ Styles theme song was planned for James Storm. When Storm decided to not sign with the WWE and go back to Impact, it was given to Styles when he debuted

Has any NXT tag team been successful on the main roster?

Enzo/Cass started out good but never got the titles and then the lame split, Cass got hurt, Enzo got fired.

American Alpha, once again, started out good, had a lame title win, a lame split, Gable got put with Benjamin but WWE didn’t do any follow up push for them, and Jordan became Angle’s son and then got hurt.

Revival has been Dead On Arrival

Authors of Pain’s debut involved a puzzling decision to dump Paul Ellering, and now don’t seem to have any direction.

What happens when Rousey wins the belt? Does she never lose? Would have to be a greasy finish.

Depends how far you wanted to go back and stretch your criteria. Suppose you could include Harper and Rowan? Even they've struggled though.

You can argue American Alpha was dead on arrival too. They literally couldn’t bother to let them show any personality or have any promos. They just expected the audience to know everything about American Alpha, including Gable pestering Jordan for months to join him on the team. It didn’t help American Alpha at all. It also didn’t help having JBL bury Gable’s catchphrase on Talking Smack one week and then Gable NEVER doing it again.

This is where HHH desperately needs to take over the main roster too. There’s so much more cohesion and organization in NXT. Things are thought out. When WWE brings these talents up, most of the time, they’re ready for the main roster, but creative isn’t ready for them (and in that case, creative really isn’t creative and what the f*** are they being paid for (yes I know Vince calls the final shots)).

Charlotte wins MITB and challenges Ronda at Summerslam.

... Because WWE doesn't believe in holding off on big matches anymore.

Yep, could have had some decent storylines to hold her over. Natty/Rousy vs Alexa/Mickie, Natty turns on Rousey, find one more match and that gets Rousey to around Summerslam to take the title there. Right now as well, the less exposure for Rousey the better. Some PPV tag matches would be good. Leave the crowd wanting a little more. I'm worried for her wrestling a one v one. Especially with Nia.

WWE fell back on putting two middling singles stars together and making them an unstoppable tag team. They will continue to do this as long as they see fit.

If this is referring to Ziggler/McIntyre, I'm okay with it in this one instance because instead of just throwing the call-up into a heatless program with Ziggler, at least they'll have some history when McIntyre inevitably kills him.

I was more referring to Hardy and Wyatt and previously Shemus and Cesaro. Zigger and McIntyre are a decent example but as you pointed out they will try to push McIntyre eventually. My real problem is with “super teams” geeking “tag specialists”.
