both genres, heard mw3 was a waste of money but I kind of like the zombies and online multiplayer. Don’t know what’s the best bang for the buck.

Just planning on picking up one of these games. Like survival horror and shooters. They say on reviews mw3 is horrible

Most of those reviews are for the campaign. If you like multiplayer MW3 is going to give you more value for your money, though Alan Wake 2 is probably the most next-gen game we've gotten thus far graphically if you care about that.
