Have to admit, not even sure Kovalenko or Malyshev even get drafted. Malyshev is underrated and he, Zhuravlyov and Okhotyuk all played better than Galenyuk at the 5 nations. Pretty sure Ylonen will go 2nd or 3rd, too, but even if his points aren't that good for Mestis, he's still one of the better goal scorers in a mens league. Shafigulin aside (who I have top 30, but I thought I could nab in the 3rd), I thought he had the most potential to be a goal scoring winger at that point. Hesitated between him Sandin and Dellandrea, but wanted the big speedy (and smart) goal scorer. I had Woo, Fonstad, Kurashev, Berggren, McShane and Khovanov left high, who I also gambled that one would be there for my 3rd.

In Kovalenko's case, he just has too many tools on offense for me not to put him in my top 90. He's a tank like his dad, guy creates chances almost every shift. And, he's like the only player on Loko who went ppg and . Outscored Denisenko by quite a bit. I was going to take Wise, but with the Russians being picked way early, didn't take the chance.
