I haven't been watching MK much recently, but I watched their UFC 296 pregame preview. Luke made a comment at the beginning that they are being fired? I know Showtime's getting out of the fight business, but did they actually announce that was going to happen with MK? Or was that just a joke?

Maybe meant fired from their boxing stuff? They've said that MK will continue as it's under CBS Sports or something different than Showtime.

UFC probably wanted no part of a Blaydes/Almeida 5round fight given Almeida's last fight.

I think Suarez runs over Lemos, subs her out rather easily.

Solid fight but I'm surprised that they went this direction with Gamrot. RDA is pretty far down the rankings and Gamrot is coming off two wins & was the backup fighter for Volk/Islam.
