Well, Tampa obviously needs some young blood and Minnesota needs to resign Kaprizov so

Wild get Point, Brayden
Lightning get Rossi, Marco, 2024 1st, Gustavsson, Filip (cap reason), Harman, Ryan (cap reason). I don't say both Gustavsson and Harman are pure cap dumps because they are worth their money. And Kaprizov will play with Point and get even more points.

Games were close. Core is still strong, just retool the surrounding pieces. Florida's going to lose some important players this summer too. But trading point would butcher this team

Core is getting older, I doubt retool will help.

Minnesota's cap situation is essentially fixed. Only one more year of cap hits, and the roster is basically full for next season, with 6 million to play with in UFA in hopes of upgrading top 6 wing.

Financially, this trade wouldn't hurt them in the slightest.

Whether it makes sense from Tampa's point of view, is entirely different and it probably doesn't.
