Benn in the top 4 is the worst defenseman ever. Benn in the bottom pairing is damn solid, let him play there and you get good results much likelier than with Reilly.

Hard to argue against this. And Julien definitely sees it this way.

I just still see an upside to Reilly that most will say just isn't there, that he'll never iron out the crinkles. He's too old to develop any more. He is who he is. Etc...
