Proposal: Mid season dealing Phaneuf

For many reasons i am tired of watching our grossly over paid Capt disappoint..
Neon Dion has significant value still and dealing him opens enormous space to sign players up long term next year and he will return an elite talent as well..

We have the players to replace him next year and still make playoffs this year..but improve even more longer term

Lol, the Phaneuf hate amongst this fanbase is pathetic. I'd almost actually like to see Phaneuf traded just to see what would happen to the team. I'm sure these guys wouldn't be dissing him so much then.
