Pesce and Jordan are doing s quality job of doing exactly the wrong thing every time they are on the ice this period.
We cleared the puck! Little victories en route to losses.
The book is out on the Canes. They have absolutely zero snarl at the goal mouth. Park a guy at the net and thread passes to him, at least 1-2 goals guaranteed per game.
Also push them around the net and after the play not like they'll do anything. (Unless you are Florida)

I mean it’s not Chara breaks Tlusty’s stick on a breakaway bad but it was pretty bad.

I wasn't putting the blame completely on Slavin for any of those goals, much less on the 2nd goal as that was a hard play for any defenseman to make. But that first goal he got juked out of position which created a huge passing lane. I just made that statement as he really just seems off and I hold him to a high standard due to his play last season. Slavin I felt like last year would come up with at least one of those plays, he did amazing things, he's just not doing amazing things this year, he's been a very average defenseman.

A stick lift is perfectly legal.
On the back angle he didn't seem to get the hands which it looked like from the front. if Jordan hadn't move his hands I think he would have but yeah that one wasn't a penalty.

Also where is the care from Mr. Co Captain? Staal got robbed of a prime scoring opportunity, that was a penalty no doubt on the play. If I'm Jordan I'm gonna chirp at the ref asking where the hell is my call?

It wasn’t a penalty. He got his stick lifted clean.
You know why....you just don't want to admit it to yourself. (It's hard to get the hook out)

I've been stuck on that hook since I was a 4 year old at the first ever Canes game in history. This hook is starting to get really rusty.
