Amirante doing the anthem tonight

:yo:
I know it's tradition and all, but when a guy lost his voice 20 years ago - a current theme among singers in arenas all over - it becomes so awkward I always mute the sound. It's for the same reason I can't watch a game with Rick Jeanneret. His character is popular, but his shrieking voice when he gets agitated (meaning: every time Buffalo crosses the red line) can break glass.

So yes, the question for tonight: How will AV screw the team this time and lose the game?

Staal + a limping Girardi, so it's guaranteed the team can't exit the zone all night. Boyle + Yandle, because putting two offensive defensemen together is so smart. Scratch McIlrath for Skjei. Dress Tanner and put him out there in critical situations, especially when needing a goal. Continue to neuter the 3rd line by playing Hayes instead of the line that played great together (can't have that). Scratch Lindberg that has been a playoff monster for all teams he has played for.

Such coaching talent! AV isn't in a situation where random decisions by him will make things better. He's in a situation where he should do the opposite of what he thinks is a good idea. It's mindboggling how quickly he went downhill.

Gotta wonder if Danny's body just gave out on him and just how many injuries he's been playing through.

He's being sat because he sucks, the 'whole body' injury thing is a farce. A graceful way of keeping him from being a 'healthy scratch'

Ah, yes. The coach who has been riding him all year in spite of his play suddenly decided to bench him during the most important games of the year. Makes complete sense.

The Rangers had never come back to win a series down 3-1 and they did it in back to back years against Pitt and Washington. Crazy. Doing it three straight years would be insane if they lose tonight.

Yeah, the most important games of the year where 4 losses equal the end of your season. Girardi directly helped contribute to many of those during the season.

Risk is too high right now. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this.

Good article on it....
