How on earth is that the first line?Perry - Getzlaf - E. Staal
Tavares - Crosby - Duchene
Stamkos - Giroux - St. Louis
Nash - Toews - M. Richards
Holy crap. I'm honestly so excited.

They are in random order, and besides, there is no "first" line for the Olympics.

I'd argue that Perry belongs nowhere near the 2014 team at this point. They tried the Getzlaf-Perry-Staal line in Vancouver (on the NHL-sized ice, where you'd think they would be most effective), and to put it bluntly they were pretty bad. I can't imagine they would look any better on the larger ice surface, as of those three only Staal is a good skater. It wasn't until Morrow replaced Staal that they actually started to produce.
I agree. That Getzlaf line I listed will depend on how they are playing. More speed would definitely be a bonus, so I could see Hall/Benn on that line.
Getzlaf-Perry-Morrow were huge in the QF and Gold Medal game.
